Andy Richmond
Andy Richmond has worked at Betfair for the past four years, holding a variety of roles in the company. Currently he can be found working on horseracing projects at Betfair plus helping to develop Betfair Radio, both in front and behind the microphone. He also presents and trains at Betfair Academy events.
Starting out working for Ladbrokes, he worked both on the racecourse, visiting 57 of the 59 GB courses and head office. After a year long break as a successful exchange punter, the offer to work on the inside at Betfair proved too strong and he returned to his first love - the betting industry.
Always happiest with sports where there are lots statistics and trends to analyse – horseracing, cricket and American football see his main forays into the betting market these days.
Andy has also been actively involved in racehorse ownership over the past 10 years and whilst he won’t be rivalling the Sheiks and Coolmore just yet, he has had some success with his horses that run under The Golden Anorak banner.
