Chicken Dinner
Chickendinner.co.uk is a new website designed to provide newcomers and casual users of the world of betting with information to help them deploy their money more skillfully. It focuses on the major televised betting events, both sporting and non-sporting, such as reality tv, Eurovision or elections, and provides editorial and gossip in the language of the layman to make it both useful and entertaining. The site's slogan is "the step before you bet."
Chickendinner.co.uk is produced by Grand Parade, an online publishing company set up earlier this year by Andy Clerkson and Ed Needham. Ed was formerly the editor of British FHM before moving to New York in 1999 to set up American FHM, and going on to edit Rolling Stone and Maxim, the world's biggest men's magazine, also in the US. Andy Clerkson is a 15-year veteran of Dennis Publishing, including an eight-year stretch in New York as general manager of Maxim. Grand Parade is based in London.
