Neil Lennon is hopeful of signing England goalkeeper David James, after losing first choice keeper Artur Boruc to Fiorentina.
James was widely expected to take up a role as player/coach at Portsmouth, but after some delay from the 39-year-old, Pompey withdrew their offer.
The Bhoys already have goalkeepers Lukasz Zaluska and Dominic Cervi at Parkhead, but Lennon fancies the experienced James, and seems determined to bag a big name signing after missing out on Jimmy Bullard and Robbie Keane.
Lennon returns from Celtic's pre-season tour of the USA at the end of the week, and aims to speak to the stopper then.
Would you be happy with James at your club? Does he still have it? Let us know what you think below....
