Manchester United were matched at odds of [60.0] on Betfair to beat Arsenal by a 3-1 scoreline this afternoon and in the process they have once again thrown the title race wide open. Two goals in quick succession towards the end of the first half caught layers of the 0-2 half-time scoreline (also at odds of [60.0]) off-guard. The scorer of the first of those two goals, Nani, was backed at [17.0] to grab the opener.

Man Utd were matched at a high of [3.6] to win the match and the three points they earned this afternoon and the impressive performance with which they got them has seen them shorten to [3.25] to win the Premier League. Arsenal's chances are beginning to be dismissed with the Gunners now as long as [13.5] for the title from a low of [4.10], whilst Chelsea still head the market at [1.69].

Earlier in the day Manchester City dispatched Portsmouth with the minimum of fuss in a 2-0 home win that has seen them come into odds of 1.99 for that coveted top four finish. Portsmouth's woes continue both on and off the field and the defeat has seen them go odds-on to finish the season rock bottom at 1.72; an unthinkable situation during the summer when they were matched as long as 38 to finish bottom of the pile.
