Gerard Delahunty

'Born in Kilkenny. My earliest racing memory is of being sent inside to watch the 1975 Grand National and report the result to the men on the farm. Aged seven I'm not sure how I managed with the pronunciation of L'Escargot.

After two stints in college took me past the age of 30 I deigned to work, to begin with in IT and latterly in the betting industry. I have maintained the website www.irishpunter.com since 2003. I am a big fan of handicap racing and my personal experience is 'the worse the race, the better the bet'. My lucky racecourse is Tramore.'
