Hugh Cahill

Hugh Cahill is a genius.

Described by some as 'The most gifted rugby broadcaster in the history of the world' he's also amazingly grounded for someone of such stunning good looks, as the picture accompanying this biography will confirm.

After receiving his certificate in shower head maintenance, Hugh decided to give sports broadcasting a go. Newstalk 106-108FM took him on for a bet and when Hugh refused to leave they decided to stick him on sport in the morning.

He commentated on the 2007 Rugby World Cup for the station, where he established a reputation as having the voice Bill McLaren should have had. His thoughts on rugby, Gaelic games and punting are intriguing and thought provoking and they can only be read right here.....
