Rank outsider Mon Mome shocked the Betfair markets when landing the Grand National at in-running odds of 1000 (999/1) this afternoon.

Venetia Williams' nine-year-old went off at a Betfair SP of 142/1 and traded at 999/1 at one stage during the four-and-a-half mile steeplechase.

A total of €18 was traded at those colossal odds.
