Naas 2:40 - Win Back - Pay The Bounty
A maximum field of 25 are set to face the starter in the More Ante-Post Value on Betfair Maiden Hurdle at Naas but, on the book at least, it looks a match between Caduceus and Pay The Bounty. Caduceus has finished behind Quel Esprit and Arvika Ligeonneire in his two starts over hurdles but slight preference is for Pay The Bounty who shaped much better than the distance beaten would suggest when third to The Hurl in a novice at Fairyhouse last time. Robert Tyner's charge was possibly still in need of the run that day having been brought down at the second on his hurdling debut and this shorter trip should suit.
Naas 3:45 - Win and Place Back - Street Legal
The 80-109 handicap hurdle looks a difficult puzzle to solve but one could do worse than have a small interest on Street Legal. He took a while to get the hang of jumping hurdles but has looked much more proficient in that department of late and ran really well when fifth to Bobs Display in a stronger race than this at Leopardstown last time. He is only 1 lb higher here, will be suited by the drop down to the minimum distance and had form on heavy ground on the Flat.
Naas 4:15 - Win Lay - Kimberlite King
Kimberlite King has arguably the best form on offer in the maiden chase but he probably isn't one to be taking a short price about. He has his own way of jumping fences (tends to get in close) and all his best form is at 2m. Western Charmer, Across The Bay, Palace Merano and Oligarch Society were all of similar ability to Kimberlite King over hurdles, so a win lay of Colm Murphy's gelding is advised.
