Southwell has endured similarly poor conditions as everywhere else this week
Follow The Flag appreciated the return to this trip when scoring here last week, in the process recording a personal best. He is up 4 lb for that, but his stable are in great nick and it would be no surprise were he to follow up.
Snow Bay produced an improved effort when making a successful fibresand debut on his penultimate outing, and is excused his latest effort from out of the weights. This looks more suitable, and his stable are in fine form.
Bel Cantor has been running really well of late over sprint trips here, and is excused his latest effort when unable to lead. He has never been most consistent though, and is vulnerable to stronger finishers over this trip.
Prohibition progressed really well as a two-year-old and the form of his Nottingham maiden win has proved strong. He has offered little both starts in handicaps though, including here recently.
Mozayada won five times at this venue last winter and showed she's back at the top of her game with two placed efforts last month. She has won off higher marks in the past, but others are more convincing.
Ravi River won three times on polytrack last year over this trip, and is now below his last winning mark. He produced a respectable fourth last time, but it is late in the day to be making his fibresand bow.
Elusive Fame is inconsistent and has looked a hard ride, though he has still won three times on fibresand in 2009. He is clearly best on this surface, and rates a fair each-way proposition.
Jonnie Skull is in good order of late, including when successful over course and distance last month. He has work to do with Follow The Flag on his latest effort though, and the handicapper may now be in charge.
