2.25 Thurles - Misala - back
Misala showed more than enough in maiden hurdles before the turn of the year to suggest he is up to winning an ordinary event and this seems a good opportunity. Runner-up on two of his four starts over timber for Adrian Sexton, the pick of his form came when chasing home the smart prospect Enterprise Park at Gowran in November. Misala has since joined the shrewd John Joseph Hanlon stable and looks set to take all the beating here.
4.35 Thurles - Asymmetric Sam - back
Asymmetric Sam looked set to open his account over hurdles at the first attempt until stumbling and coming down at the last when upsides Politeo here last month, going marginally the best at the time. The Willie Mullins-trained Laganbank is likely to be a warm order and Asymmetric Sam could be the value, providing he is not feeling the effects of that last-flight mishap.
3.30 Thurles - Mountain Heather - place lay
Mountain Heather was successful in bumpers and ran right up to her best over hurdles when third to Hot Or What in a handicap at Limerick in January. Didn't find much off the bridle behind that same rival at Clonmel on latest and she looks opposable in this given that she's unproven beyond two and a half miles.
