Paul Jacobs

Paul Jacobs has worked in the world of sport since he left his under performing educational career behind in 1985.

His time in charge of the Ladbrokes broadcasting team, in tandem with Angus Loughran and John Hunt, ended when he was asked to become the first Racing Editor of Oracle (renamed Teletext).

Presenter of the Saturday/Sunday show on Talk Sport then followed during which time he became the continuity team manager for Channel 5 (Five) for nine years. His tones can also be heard on the Biography Channel.

After a stint as the sports betting columnist on the Evening Standard, he has twice won the prestigious Racing Post Naps championship in the last 8 years, finishing second once and third three times in the same time period.

Regular appearances as a Sky Bet commentator and Betfair presenter have followed along with his position as Moorestyle on the Daily Star Sunday.
